Celebrity Portrait Reveal...a resounding success

The annual Celebrity Portrait Reveal is one of the highlights in the BDAS calendar and this year, our 15th, was no exception. It was a fabulous sell out event at the stunning Centennial Vineyards Restaurant. 

We were very fortunate to secure stand-up comedian, Lawrence Mooney as our celebrity. He delighted the guests with his humour and story telling during an in house conversation with actor John Waters. In keeping with the theme, guests were treated to performances by Zero Central Circus.

Four well known artists Dave Thomas, Kate Vella, Oliver Watts and Noel Thurgate were invited to paint and draw Lawrence. 

Many thanks to all our wonderful donors to our Silent Auction. Guests had a range of wonderful items to bid on and all the money raised from the event goes towards maintaining the facilities at the BDAS. The Celebrity Portrait Reveal has been proudly sponsored by Corina Nesci from Highland - Southern Highlands. Her generosity and support is greatly appreciated by the BDAS community and artists.
