The much-anticipated Southern Highlands Arts Trail is back, bringing a vibrant celebration of creativity to the region this November. In conjunction with the Arts Trail we have the 100% Arty Market happening at the BDAS.
Join us for a jam-packed weekend of Art and fun with the Arty Market, Arts Trail and BDAS Tutor’s Exhibition. Here is a general program of What’s On.
Sat 9 November
· BDAS Tutors Exhibition 10 -4pm Bowral Art Gallery
· Arts Trail Studio 1 - Student work for sale from Dave Thomas’ class, “Load the Brush”
· Arts Trail Studio 2 - 10am painting demo by Wayne Davis, Student work for sale from “Awash with Colour” watercolour group
· Arts Trail Studio 3 -10am Silver -Smithing demo by Walter Brecely, student works for sale Jewellery, printmakers & puppets
Sun 10 November
· BDAS Tutors Exhibition 10 -4pm Bowral Art Gallery
· Arts Trail Studio 1 -10am Painting demo by Dave Thomas, Students from “Load the Brush”
· Arts Trail Studio 2 - Students from “Awash with Colour” watercolour group
· Arts Trail Studio 3 - 10am Silver-Smithing demo by Walter Brecely, jewellery, printmakers & puppets
· 100% Arty Market located in BDAS carpark hosting a massive art book stall, bake stall and second- hand art materials stall by the BDAS along with 17 other local makers selling their wares. Enjoy great live music from the Highland FM 100% Home-Grown Artists on the Month and STA will be holding a zine making workshop. Not sure what that is…come along and check it out.
Sat 16 & Sun 17 November (Studio 1 is closed for a workshop with Noel Thurgate)
