FIRST PRIZE
Edward Willson Fluidity
In Sculpture Garden
Judge’s Comments: “Scale, material and a tactile presence are realised in a distinctive and sensitively created work of art. Evidence of a thoughtful, purposeful making, communicating a visceral emotion. ‘Fluidity,’ has a three-dimensional purpose held with gentle assertiveness giving this artwork an authority in space.”
2nd PRIZE
Eva Beltran What Remains
Judge’s Comments: “A muscular artwork with a monumentality belying its small scale. An arresting, thought-provoking artwork, full of energy with an engaging tactile presence. Cohesion between idea, form and material communicating a sense of the future past.”
