BDAS invites entries under the following guidelines:​

 

Landscape works are the personal interpretation of the artist predominantly of the natural world but inclusive of the built environment. Works may be realistic or abstract.

 

The work must be an original signed drawing, painting or of a print-making medium, or a 3D work excluding photography or reproductions; not previously shown with this society, and completed in the past 12 months. There is a limit of two works per artist.  All works must be for sale.  See entry form for full details.

BDAS invites entries under the following guidelines:​

 

Still Life: A work of art depicting inanimate objects which may be natural or man-made.  The work must be an original signed drawing or painting, may include mixed media, printmaking or 3D work, but exclude photography, or digital reproduction. Must not have been previously shown in any BDAS prize exhibition, and must have been completed in the past 12 months.

 

Artists may submit two works.  All works must be for sale.

 

The Judge and Curator will view all entries and their decision on work to be exhibited and prizes awarded will be final. The BDAS do not pre-judge works by digital image. There is no guarantee that all entries will be hung.

 

The artist warrants that they are the original author of the work.  Furthermore, the work does not, to the best of the artist's knowledge, infringe the copyright or moral rights of any third party.
