DETAILS :
The works on show have resulted from Judy¹s repeated travels over
many years in Greece and Central Australia. Using acrylic paint, pastel,
pencil Judy explores the iconic nature of each environment. Patterns of
the manmade landscape: olive groves vineyards, villages and mountains in
Greece, and the textures of rock, red earth and dry river beds in Australia.
The differences are captured in a gestural approach, in the use of media,
and an abstraction in forms and colour. Judy has exhibited in both Europe
and Australia, including being a finalist in the Alice Art Prize.
