BDAS 60th ANNIVERSARY SPECIAL EVENT
Three well known Artists to paint a portrait of Reg Livermore in BDAS Studio

It is the BDAS 60th birthday and to celebrate the event we have asked 3 well known portrait artists to paint a Southern Highlands celebrity in the style of the Rolf Harris TV Show.  The artists are Ann Cape and Colina Grant from Sydney and Dave Thomas for Bowral.  Reg Livermore has agreed to be our subject.  Reg resides in Burradoo and is a celebrated actor, director, writer and artist.  We are very grateful for his support.

The artists will spend 1 day painting Reg in the BDAS workshop and the 3 portraits will then be displayed in the window of the Brown Bookshop in Bowral for 2 weeks, 18th September – 1st October and then for 1 week at the Gallery. There will be opportunity for people to vote for the painting they like at the Bookshop

A special function will be held to reveal the portraits of Reg on Wednesday 22nd September 6-7pm and this will lead into the opening of the John Copes Portrait Prize on Saturday 25th October at 1pm.
